Red chili loaded spice mix, to make this fiery delicacy from Coimbatore - a small southern town.
Cooking Instructions
- Mix the contents with 100ml water to make a paste directly in the pan used for cooking.
- Add 30ml (2 tbsp) oil to the mix and saute on low-medium heat for at least 20 minutes.
- Add 250g protein of choice and mix well.
- Add water (approx. 100ml), cover with a lid and cook until the meat is done. Add more water and salt based on taste and consistency preference.
- Add 5 red chillies (optional) and mix quickly for 2 minutes. Garnish with cilantro (coriander leaves). If using a pressure cooker, adjust timer / whistle accordingly.
